My beautiful, wonderful, adorable daughter was born earlier today. Elaine Myra Raby, my first daughter was born today at 11:28 am, weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces, with a length of 21 inches. She is a truly impressive looking girl, as you can from one of the first pictures of her:
This has been an incredibly important and life-changing event occurring, particularly as by per luck, it happened to occur exactly one week after I defended my Master’s Thesis. It’s been insanely busy for the past several weeks, even months. From this point on, though, on top of myself and my wife, I’ll also have this incredibly adorable and cuddly girl to support. I feel more motivated than ever before to be a successful blogger (to say nothing of achieving more with my professional life, both online and off) in order to ensure that she has a wonderful life. Expect to see much more from me, both here and around the blogosphere as I build this blog into a massive power.
But for now, all I want to do is cuddle with my adorable girl, snuggle with my wife, and catch up on the sleep I lost when my baby decided to start her trip out of the womb in the middle of the night. Thanks for reading, as always, and please return in the near future to see me turn this blog into a major powerhouse. Now, though, a little newborn requires my attention.
