		<description>@Forest: Very true; statistics are exceptionally easy to distort or misrepresent in the service of some underlying goal.  (Especially now that all you need to do to conduct a &#039;survey&#039; is set up a link on your website...)  Taking statistics the way you would any reporting, with a healthy amount of skepticism and an eye toward ulterior motives, is definitely your best bet.</description>

		<description>We all certainly need better education on understanding stats.... We also need to discount any stats fed to us by someone trying to sell something, especially if they are wearing a white coat!!!
