Yes, Bach has a fairly simple, straightforward approach to money and personal finance, as exhibited both here and in the Automatic Millionaire, but that's part of the appeal. If you want a solid basis for understanding the house hunting process, it does make a good read. Just don't let Bach's cheer leading for house-buying (and the stories he shares of 'ordinary' home owners reaping insanely high returns) sway you into making a decision that's not in your best interest. It was nothing groundbreaking, but then again good personal finances don't need to be fancy. Me and my fiancee are looking into buying a place when our lease is up next August... we'll have to check out this book in the mean time. Thanks for the review Roger!
